Hunger Games Chapter 14 Response

Many things happened in chapter 14.The first was that Katniss was spotted by other career tributes. I thought when career tributes spotted Katniss they will kill her instantly. But instead they didn't kill Katniss. Katniss made a wise choice by making tracker jays fallow and kill the career tributes that were camping right below her, I would have done the same thing also. I think that will be the only time Katniss will actually kill a tribute in the Hunger Games. Something that surprised me is that when Peeta meet Katniss, he let Katniss go instead of killing her.I think Peeta is actually on Katniss' side because that was his moment to kill Katniss but instead he spared Katniss' life. Do you think Peeta will later betray Katniss?
